The Leapmotor B05 is showing good growth in Spain

Leapmotor consolidates its solid growth: in 2025 it delivered around 600.000 vehicles and achieved annual profitability, while in the first quarter of 2026 it exceeded 110.000 global deliveries and 40.000 exports.

One of the models driving the brand's growth is the B05, an affordable compact car with a competitive pricing strategy, a simple range, and a high level of equipment . If the conditions are met, it can be purchased from €19.500 (including €3.375 from the Auto+ Plan and €900 from the CAE).

Leapmotor, a company partly owned by Stellantis, will start production in Spain this year , specifically at the plant located in Figueruelas, Zaragoza.

An attractive compact

The B05 is built on the LEAP 3.5 platform (4.43 m long and 2.735 mm wheelbase) with rear-wheel drive and multi-link rear suspension , a combination that offers a very dynamic character.

The chassis is tuned for the European driver, with 50/50 weight distribution and effective suspensions that allow precise control of body movements without negatively affecting occupant comfort.

The B05 features rear-wheel drive, a balanced 50:50 weight distribution, and a spacious interior . Its silhouette boasts flowing lines, frameless doors, a closed front end for improved aerodynamic efficiency, and a distinctive continuous LED light signature . At the bottom, active grilles can automatically adjust airflow to maximize performance and range.

Spacious interior with good finishes

Inside, the standout features include a 14,6-inch high-definition central touchscreen, an 8,8-inch digital instrument cluster , and a simple, practical, minimalist design. It also boasts a voice assistant, an advanced infotainment system, and over-the-air updates.

It boasts one of the largest panoramic sunroofs in its class to enhance the already spacious feel, and features comfortable seats with backrests that recline up to 27 degrees . The B05 is equipped with 7 airbags, 21 Level 2 ADAS functions, supported by 14 sensors and cameras.

It receives over-the-air (OTA) updates to improve the software, and through the Leapmotor application, it is possible to stay connected to the vehicle at all times to know various parameters of the car and act on them.

It is offered in five body colors : Lightning Yellow, Breeze Gray, Starry Night Blue, Starry Silver, and Metallic Black, in two versions: Life Pro and Design Pro Max . The Life Pro combines a 56,2 kWh battery and 218 hp , with a consumption of 15,8 kWh/100 km , while the Design Pro Max, with the same power and a consumption of 15,9 kWh/100 km, increases its battery to 67,1 kWh for those who want more range and performance: it boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6,7 seconds.

For its part, the battery charging in alternating current is 11 kW in both cases , while in direct current, the small battery version supports up to 140 kW, and the larger capacity variant supports charging at a maximum power of 168 kW.
