McLaren will certify its second-hand models
It's still too early to talk about the sale of McLaren's new generation of supercars, but in Woking they've launched a program that will certify the authenticity of pre-owned vehicles . In this way, Ron Dennis's team aims to simplify the buying and selling process for a given model.
The service, called McLaren Qualified, guarantees that every model bearing this certificate is completely authentic . To ensure this, McLaren will thoroughly inspect the British supercar, from the inside out and down to the smallest detail of the bodywork.
Buyers of the pre-owned model will also receive a two-year factory warranty covering parts and repairs. In addition, vehicles that have been through McLaren's Special Operations factory will receive a one-month service from the date of purchase.
According to the firm's Director of Marketing and Sales, Greg Levine, "The strict management and control of pre-owned vehicles is key to maintaining the exclusivity, customer experience, and overall residual values of every McLaren. This is very important to us and even more so to our customers. Through the McLaren Qualified program, we are ensuring that the McLaren vehicle experience is unique, offering owners the confidence of McLaren's standards."
