Total Renting consolidates its growth in a sector that focuses on sustainability and efficiency.

Total Renting celebrates four years of growth, with a focus on digitalization and sustainability. It now offers 4+ eco-friendly models and leads the online leasing market in Spain.
Total Renting, a leading company in the sector vehicle rental in Spain, celebrates four years of consistent and sustained growth, in a context where renting continues to gain ground as a preferred option for businesses and individuals.
Since its founding, Total Renting has steadily evolved, adapting to new consumer trends, focusing on digitalization, personalized advice, and, above all, sustainability. The company has increased its operating volume fivefold since 2021, expanding its vehicle portfolio, improving its digital platform, and forging strategic agreements with manufacturers and financial institutions.
This development is in line with the positive evolution of the sector, which, according to data published by the Spanish Vehicle Renting Association (AER), has registered a total of 82.939 units registered, which represents an increase of 2,87% compared to the same period last year. In terms of investment, leasing companies have allocated 1.888 millones de euros to the acquisition of vehicles, with an accumulated growth of 4,25%.
"Since our inception, we've been committed to a model that simplifies mobility for customers, with complete transparency, no down payment, and everything included. Today we can say we're one of the fastest-growing online rental platforms in Spain," says Álvaro Laserna.
Boosting sustainable mobility
One of the key pillars of Total Renting's growth has been its commitment to sustainable mobility. In these four years, the company has integrated more than 500 electrified models into its offering, facilitating the energy transition for hundreds of Spanish businesses and families.
In addition, the company has strengthened its presence in the business channel, where renting already represents the 46,24% of total registrations. The trust of the business community has been key to the development of solutions tailored to sectors, from SMEs to large fleets.
Looking to the future with more renting, more digital and more green
Renting already represents the 25,21% of the total registration market in Spain, and everything indicates that this figure will continue to grow in the coming years. Total Renting faces this scenario with new challenges: international expansion, strengthening its technological platform, and integrating shared and flexible mobility solutions.
“Renting is no longer a trend; it's an established reality that is transforming the way we understand mobility. And at Total Renting, we're prepared to lead this change with responsibility, innovation, and closeness,” concludes the team.
