New Citroën C3 Aircross Rip Curl: an SUV for adventurers
With a starting price from €14,400, the Citroën C3 Aircross Rip Curl adds distinctive design elements and extra equipment to the Feel versions, valued at €2,200.
It entered the smallest SUV segment just 9 months ago, and the new Citroën C3 Aircross has already racked up 100,000 orders in Europe, 9,500 of them in the Spanish market. Now the French brand is adding a Rip Curl special edition, joining the variants of the same name on the C4 Space Tourer, Grand C4 Space Tourer and Space Tourer.

In terms of design, the C3 Aircross Rip Curl stands out with 16-inch alloy wheels finished in black, and Rip Curl logos on the front doors. Inside, the distinguishing touch comes from grey fabric upholstery with white stitching, and a blue band across the top of the seatbacks.

A saving of more than €1,500
The appeal of this C3 Aircross Rip Curl special series goes beyond the distinctive exterior and interior design elements, which give it a more adventurous character. Based on the Citroën C3 Aircross Feel, the Rip Curl adds, as highlights, the ConnectNAV 3D system with 7-inch touchscreen and mirror screen function, and the Grip Control traction control with hill start assist.

The price of all the extra equipment on the Rip Curl versions compared with the C3 Aircross in Feel trim is around €2,200. A buyer who chooses the Rip Curl special series pays around €650 more than for the Feel trim, so the saving comes to €1,550. The available mechanical versions include the PureTech petrol engine in 82, 110 and 130 CV versions, and the BlueHDI with 100 and 120 CV, the latter with the EAT6 automatic gearbox.
