Jaguar Land Rover to open first factory in China tomorrow, mulling US expansion
The new Chinese production centre is located in Changshu, northeast of Shanghai, and has a production capacity of 130.000 units per year. Initially, the Range Rover Evoque will be assembled there, followed later by the Discovery Sport, production of which has already begun in Halewood.
