It will be much more comfortable to use on a daily basis, with an easier-to-access cabin and a slightly more docile handling than the 650S, but without losing its sporty behaviour. Its presentation to the public is finally planned for the next Geneva Motor Show.
McLaren has released the first details of its new model, called the P13, which will be the entry-level model in the British manufacturer's range. It will be built in carbon fibre, will offer 444 hp and will be priced at around 150.000 euros.
McLaren is reportedly preparing its upcoming P13 model to take on the Porsche 911. It would be very similar to the P1, although with a less powerful version of the twin-turbo V8 found in the MP4-12C. The new sports car is expected to arrive in 2014, at a price of around 155.000 euros.
