60 Years of MINI: A Special Design Edition

MINI celebrates 60 years since its creation in 1959 with a completely exclusive design rooted in its traditional style yet open to change. A new model that will be available from March in different versions and with four engine variants.

MINI never stops reinventing itself, and what better moment to do so than by taking advantage of its six decades of existence. Its new model, the MINI 60 Years Edition, brings back the sporty spirit that John Cooper and its creator Alec Issigonis envisioned and wanted to capture, endowing the compact car with a powerful drivetrain.

Interior and exterior design
The 60 Years Edition recalls British racing cars and their era in motorsport, above all with the gloss finish of the bodywork in Pepper White or black, combined with the exterior paint in British Green IV. Although the latter can be swapped for other colours such as Midnight Black, Moonwalk Grey or MINI Yours Lapisluxury. Also worth highlighting are the bonnet stripes with an exclusive design and its 17″ 60 Years Spoke 2 alloy wheels.

Other exclusive elements included in this model are the introduction of a special logo found on the left of the bonnet, on the Side Scuttles of the side indicators, on the sills of the front doors and, as a surprise, something quirky that the group BMW had previously included but the MINI brand had not: an LED projection with said logo

when the driver’s door is opened.
