Aston Martin has unveiled a ultra-exclusive one-off edition based on the DB9 Volante. Meet the DB9 Volante Morning Frost, which comes with a very personal look featuring white and bluish tones, creating a highly attractive contrast.

Aston Martin has unveiled the latest creation from its Q special vehicles division. Meet the Aston Martin DB9 Volante Morning Frost, a limited edition of just one unit.

This is, therefore, a vehicle in which exclusivity is one of its strongest values.

Built on the basis of the DB9 Volante (convertible), the Morning Frost adds generous doses of exclusivity and style, typical of a brand such as Aston Martin, a specialist in creating machines capable of turning heads wherever they go.

Compared with a “traditional” DB9 Volante, the Morning Frost features a paint finish in white tones which, as it could not be otherwise, has been named “Morning Frost”. The alloy wheels also receive a special treatment to enhance their shine, although the design is exactly the same as on other DB9s.
In addition to the paint, the exterior look is completed with mouldings and details made from carbon fibre. It is a carbon fibre whose lacquer tends towards an electric blue colour (Aston Martin calls it Cobalt Blue), which adds an extra touch of distinction.

This same combination is also found in the interior, where leather and carbon fibre remain the stars. The leather covering the cabin is dyed roughly half in white and half in blue. Some trim pieces (such as the dashboard or the one covering the folded roof) feature a blue tone, which is also found in more subtle details such as the steering wheel rim, the gear paddles or the air vents.

It is therefore one of the most personal and exclusive interiors you can find. The engine and transmission have not changed in any way compared with the standard model, so the powerplant remains the well-known 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 510 CV and 620 Nm, while the gearbox is a six-speed Touchtronic-2 automatic.
