Bentley sues Guns 'n Roses singer

It must be either very foolish or very brave to leave a car of the calibre of the Bentley Continental Flying Spur in the hands of a rock star such as Axl Rose, singer of the famous American band Guns ‘n Roses, as things could end very badly.
If this is to be assumed as a fact, the person at Bentley who offered a brand-new Continental Flying Spur to this singer on a leasing basis must have been in a very good mood. On paper it might have worked, but once the contract ended it left more than one executive open-mouthed.

So much so that Bentley has decided to sue Axl Rose for no less than 74,000 dollars, a sum that the British brand believes is the most suitable, as it will cover the damage the model has sustained as well as a rather hefty excess mileage over the agreed limit.
As for the damage, which you will surely be wondering about, the American singer returned the model at the end of the leasing contract with certain problems: a windscreen cracked with several major fractures, wheel rims damaged presumably by kerbing or scrapes, broken rear lights, and damaged bumpers and doors…
A catalogue of mishaps that its owner has declined to comment on, and which ends with an excess mileage of no less than 70,000 km, something that must be hard for the executives at Bentley to digest, as they are surely not accustomed to this kind of incident.
