Cupra Formentor VZN: a new special edition for the UK only
The Martorell-based brand has just unveiled a special edition of its popular Formentor, featuring a very dark look and a comprehensive standard equipment list
Since it hit the streets almost three years ago, the Cupra Formentor has become the brand’s most popular model thanks to its appealing design, its excellent value for money, its generous equipment and its varied engine range designed to suit all kinds of needs.
Its success extends beyond the Spanish market: in other countries such as Germany and the United Kingdom it has also become one of the reference models in its segment. However, Cupra has now launched a new special edition exclusively for the United Kingdom, aimed at boosting sales of this popular model, under the name VZN.

A very dark look
Based on the 310 hp Formentor, the new VZN sports a look dominated by an elegant matte black body finish, new matte black alloy wheels measuring 19 inches, and a few bronze accents on the brand logos and the lettering on the brake calipers.
Inside, the new Cupra Formentor VZN, obviously with right-hand drive as it is a model for the UK only, comes with a panoramic sunroof, a 12-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, sporty seats in dynamic fabric and black leather with gold stitching, heated, and a sporty steering wheel, also heated.

Generous equipment at an attractive price
As for driver assistance and safety systems, this edition features matrix LED headlights, adaptive cruise control with speed limiter, lane departure and lane change assist, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and the Emergency Assist system (semi-autonomous vehicle control in an emergency).
As we have already mentioned, under the bonnet this Formentor has the 2.0-litre engine producing 310 hp, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Finally, the new Cupra Formentor VZN starts at £48,270, or roughly €56,131 at current exchange rates.
