Daniel Craig, the actor who plays the 21st-century James Bond, has just received a Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster for his birthday, a gift that recalls the affinity between the English luxury supercar brand and the film producers of 007.

During the last three films in which the British actor has portrayed the famous MI6 secret agent James Bond on the big screen, the car has always taken part alongside him in the best chase scenes, a Aston Martin, whether the DBS from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace or the DB5 from Skyfall.

For now we do not know whether the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster was a gift from Daniel Craig to himself for his forty-fifth birthday, or whether it was his wife, actress Rachel Weisz, who spent hundreds of thousands of euros on the purchase. Either way, whoever is the lucky owner of this English beauty.

The unit we are dealing with in this article has a paint finish I had never seen before on a Aston Martin, a reddish-orange colour that highlights the sporty character of the V12 Vantage, though on the other hand it loses some of the elegance and charisma of such a beautiful example.
