Dodge Challenger Drag Race Package by Mopar

Mopar takes us back to the days of Two Lane Blacktop, except that the GTO is swapped for a Challenger lightened by 454 kg to attack the quarter mile.

That Challenger is the one fitted with the new Drag Race Package, a weight-reduction kit that for $30,000 (roughly 19,000 euros) turns your muscular Dodge into one ready for competition. It can also be added to three different engines: the Magnum V8 5.9, HEMI V8 5.7 and HEMI V8 6.1.

They will be built in runs of 100 units or more, a requirement that must be met to pass NHRA regulations. Below are three freshly revealed photos showing it in two different liveries. The black and white one: superb.
