Dodge Charger Blacktop, straight to CES

Dodge has just officially unveiled the Blacktop edition, built on the impressive Dodge Charger

It has been a long time since Dodge announced any new model, limited edition or anything similar, something that for weeks has been piquing my curiosity and that has finally materialised, in just a few weeks’ time, in the presentation of a version built on the eye-catching Charger and renamed with the Blacktop name.

Specifically, under the name Dodge Charger Blacktop we find a true gem of a vehicle that stands out for its body painted entirely in black, tinted windows, wheels painted to match the bodywork and a tuning that all its fans will surely appreciate.

Mechanically, it is still not clear whether the chosen engine is the enormous 5.7-litre V8 or the new 3.6-litre V6, which has been generating such good impressions. What they have made very clear Dodge is that they have worked to offer a much higher level of quality in every aspect.

A clear example can be found when opening its doors, where apparently a huge audio system made up of 10 speakers has been installed, driven by a massive 12-channel amplifier. As the source, a new multimedia system stands out for offering simple control of all types of auxiliary inputs thanks to an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
