Erebos X, the prototype that precedes 10 ultra-exclusive units
A Florida-based company has drawn on the Mercedes Vision GT to create this prototype, built as a showcase for the production of 10 exclusive units.

Several years ago, Mercedes surprised everyone with the unveiling of a concept car that had been conceived for a video game. It was the Mercedes Vision GT, which had been designed for the video game Gran Turismo. In 2013, the German brand dared to give shape to this concept and presented it in physical form to demonstrate what it was capable of. Now, a Florida company has wanted to go a step further.
The result has been the Erebos X, a prototype created by Parker Brothers Concepts, which takes this model as its reference and aims to be the first of a special edition of just 10 units. The inspiration comes from the Mercedes Vision GT, although it is not a Mercedes. Nevertheless, everything in the prototype’s design recalls what was seen on this model.

The gull-wing doors, but also the large front grille, very aggressive headlights, the fenders, also large, and other elements lead us to think of the Vision GT. But this model is not mounted on the chassis of a Mercedes, but appears to have been designed from scratch, with a custom tubular chassis.

At the rear, a spoiler has been added, and the rear LED lights also seek a resemblance to the concept car. The aerodynamic wheel covers feature a very eye-catching scheme in grey and fluorescent green. Inside we see a yoke steering wheel and an instrument display that protrudes from the console.
It is supposedly powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 835 CV, with rear-wheel drive. Certainly, it is more powerful than the video game model, which used a 5.5-litre V8 engine delivering 580 CV. As for other features, the company has revealed some of them through its social media channels.
The model weighs 1,233 kg, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h. Another relevant detail is that it has more ground clearance than an Lamborghini Aventador, so it would be suitable for road use.
A 1.5 million dollar supercar
This model, which for now is an almost fully functional prototype, will have a price of 1.5 million dollars, and 10 units are expected to be manufactured in total. In case you were wondering, Parker Brothers Concepts is a company specialised in building and preparing vehicles for films. For now, we have only seen this prototype, which will also be for sale. Obviously, this one will cost somewhat less than the final vehicles, but it will be just as spectacular.
