Exxon Mobil sells its service stations

Exxon Mobil, one of the largest fuel suppliers, has just announced the sale of its 820 company-owned petrol stations and another 1,400 belonging to distributors.
According to the company, certain factors in supply, demand and the refining process have led to a sharp drop in profits, causing losses despite the rise in fuel prices.
Although the cases are completely different, one can mention the problem of some service stations in North America whose business is not going through a good patch.
And given the trend in the market, it would not be surprising to hear more news of this kind in the future.
