Fernando Alonso surprises everyone at the Jarama with the Aston Martin Vantage DTM
Spanish Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso captivates more than 2,000 lucky customers with the Aston Martin Vantage DTM at an event sponsored by the fibre and mobile company, Finetwork

Yesterday, 6 September, thanks to Finetwork, the renowned Spanish fibre and mobile services company, we had the pleasure of attending an event in an incredible setting such as the Circuito de Madrid Jarama RACE, where its customers had the unique opportunity to meet the celebrated Formula 1 driver, Fernando Alonso, who also acts as the brand’s ambassador, along with the renowned Spanish artist DJ Nano, who kept the wait entertaining with one of his great music sets.
This exciting gathering brought together around 2,000 people last Wednesday, allowing fifteen lucky customers, selected through a raffle, to meet the driver in person, as well as celebrities such as Josep Pedrerol or Miguel Ángel Román. In addition, three of these lucky winners were able to experience the exceptional thrill of being co-drivers alongside Alonso in an unforgettable experience. At the entrance to the event, the DB12 model of Aston Martin was on display, an eye-catching car that drew the attention of every attendee.

The event was presented by the CEO of Finetwork, Óscar Vilda, who handed over to Fernando and held a lively conversation with the Asturian driver about the importance of sports sponsorship in the success of Spanish athletes, an area in which the company stands out for maintaining its status as 100% “Made in Spain“.
Currently, Finetwork supports various figures and sports entities, including, in addition to Fernando Alonso, the national basketball teams, the football clubs Betis and Real Sociedad, the outstanding padel player Ale Galán, the talented Moto2 riders Pedro Acosta and Alonso López, former footballer Joaquín Sánchez, and the esports team KOI.

During the opening of the event, Finetwork’s CEO and Fernando Alonso highlighted the clear synergies between the driver and the company, as well as the growing media exposure that sports sponsorship has generated in recent years. Both shared their goals for this year: “DOUBLE”, Finetwork’s ambition to double its customer base by 2024, and the “33″, the victory Fernando Alonso is eager to achieve.
After this pleasant talk, the driver showed his skill behind the wheel at the Madrid circuit, honed over many years of experience in several categories such as Formula 1, World Endurance and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he was able to drive more than 50 laps in the elegant Aston Martin Vantage DTM.

“At Finetwork, we believe that sports sponsorship is one of the keys to our success and we are proud to support national talent, such as the exceptional Fernando Alonso. In this new stage of growth for the company, in which we reaffirm our commitment to our roots, we will maintain the values that have guided our activity so far: passion, effort and dedication, working tirelessly to reach even more ambitious goals”, declared Óscar Vilda, CEO of the company, referring to Finetwork’s new slogan: “A connection very much from here“.
For his part, Fernando Alonso expressed his gratitude for being part of the distinctive values that characterise Finetwork. He highlighted the importance of the support the company has provided in this crucial year for him, as he pursues his 33rd Formula 1 victory, and he also confessed that he came closer to achieving it at the Monaco circuit, as “it had more grip than at Zandvoort“, said the Spanish driver.

This exciting event not only highlighted the union between Finetwork and motorsport, but also the shared passion for sport and the commitment of both parties to reach new heights in the future. While Finetwork continues expanding its network and services, the company also demonstrates its dedication to promoting and supporting Spanish sporting talent in its pursuit of excellence. With Fernando Alonso at the wheel and Finetwork’s determination, the future looks promising for this exciting collaboration.
