First teaser of the Pininfarina Cambiano Concept

Pininfarina previews the Cambiano Concept in a first teaser, a four-door saloon that will be presented at the Geneva motor show next March.

In the past, Pininfarina has given us truly dreamlike concepts, with some examples we have already shown you in detail. Today the Italian house is not as prolific as it once was (such as the beautiful 512S Modulo), and its sketches are now geared towards a more efficient use of materials and the protection of the environment, as is the case with its latest creation, the Cambiano Concept, which does not make them any less spectacular.

There is little specific information about the Cambiano Concept, except that it will be presented at the Geneva motor show. We have the first image of the concept, more of a teaser, of what will not precisely be a futuristic coupé, but an elegant and refined four-door saloon where the use of environmentally friendly materials will prevail.

The name of the concept comes from the Italian town where Pininfarina has its headquarters, but this concept also marks anniversaries, as it celebrates the 30 years of Pininfarina’s design centre and the 10 years of the designer’s engineering centre.

The image does not say much, but we can glimpse part of the advanced design that characterises its concepts, from the LED lights to the absence of wing mirrors, which suggests they will be replaced by video cameras. As is almost always the case with Pininfarina, the design looks impeccably executed and, although we cannot see anything else of the car, the roof appears to be a glazed extension of the windscreen.

We will find out more in the coming days, once Pininfarina starts releasing more images of the model.
