From the roads to space

A couple of months ago, Kahn Design made the news when 80 units of its latest customisation package were bought by the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia.

But I think few of us imagined that the vision of the company’s owner, Afzal Kahn, could reach so high. According to the information, the entrepreneur will reveal the official brand and the marketing plan for his space travel project called Galactic Kahn next month.

The event will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in London, where the exclusive designs of the Kahn Knight I spacecraft will be shown alongside the new logo.

In addition, sources close to the company indicate that 60% of the spacecraft is ready and flight tests should begin in the Mojave Desert in 2010; if the first stage is successful, space tests will be carried out at the start of 2011 and the first commercial journey to the stars will take place at the end of 2012.
