The American company Boeing has been tasked with mounting this pointer laser cannon on the roof of this Humvee of the army’s ground forces. Its purpose is not to cleanly slice through everything in its path as in science-fiction films, but to heat explosives from a distance so they detonate almost instantly, thus averting danger in time.
