GM sells classic cars and concepts from the company museum

After the Bush administration granted financial aid to GM and Chrysler the manufacturers can now begin their restructuring plans, however both know the limitations to which they are subject, so they continue looking for other alternatives.
For its part, GM has decided to sell 250 units from its private museum, including classics and concepts that played an important role in the manufacturer’s history.
Collectors will be able to acquire everything from the more unusual, such as the 1990 Buick Bolero, to beauties like a 1918 Cadillac or the Pontiac Solstice GXP. The Popemobile used by John Paul II in 1998 deserves a special mention.
The cars will be auctioned in Arizona at the beginning of next year, and the company hopes the capital raised will help cover emergencies outside the budget.
