Hyundai is going to war: this is the tank it has presented as a concept model

Hyunadi is a brand that dares to do everything, as we already know. What we did not expect is that it would venture into the military field and present a vehicle designed to fight very harsh battles. And we mean that literally. To do so, it has a division called Rotem, which handles the automotive branch responsible for designing and manufacturing trains, military vehicles and other heavy products. And it has just presented a battle tank, very technological and with interesting technological proposals.

The combat vehicle presented at the International Aerospace and Design Exhibition in Seoul is called Main Battle Tank, for lack of a better name. It has a very angular design, which breaks with the aesthetics we usually associate with this type of combat vehicle. One of its features is the covering of the tracks, which have a practical honeycomb pattern that helps prevent it from being detected by radar.

Cutting-edge technology for the combat vehicle

Technology is very present in this armored vehicle, since it is not crewed. The battle tank has a remote driving system, so it does not need a pilot on board. The operator is located somewhere else, so there is no military personnel on board and their safety is guaranteed.

In addition, an active protection system against anti-tank weapons has been installed and it has been given a certain invisibility to radars. It is accompanied by a multipurpose drone, which allows the terrain to be explored and offers a wider view of where the battle tank will move.

Still on the drawing board

This vehicle was created together with Hyundai Motors and is not yet in production. It is a vehicle that has just been designed and is in the concept phase. It has not yet been built as a prototype, since the intention is to show it to several armies from different countries and see what interest there might be in this project.
