IVECO launches a video in support of hauliers

Faced with the current difficult situation and as a benchmark among commercial vehicles, IVECO has launched a message of support for the automotive sector.

IVECO, in support of the goods transport sector, has released an moving video featuring testimonies from several professional hauliers who, during these days and despite the terrible situation gripping Europe, have not stopped working every day. Their role is key to the economy and now, if anything, more than ever.

The transport sector in our country has not stopped during the COVID-19 lockdown. Quite the opposite. Nearly 200,000 trucks in Spain continue their normal activity, as is the case across the rest of the European Union. Mainly the food sector, which stands out the most, as its activity has increased exponentially to guarantee supplies to the most affected European countries such as Italy and Spain.

To these heavy trucks we must add the activity of the light delivery vehicles that continue to operate. This online market sector has seen an exponential increase due to the quarantine, and the delivery service has also increased its activity to meet all customer needs.
