Jeep could go back to making pick-up models

Jeep is performing well and is the only brand so far within Chrysler that is bringing profits to the whole Fiat/Chrysler group, selling only its timeless Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee. The only one that turned out to be a bit out of place has been the Compass, but as for the rest of the models, they sell. But Jeep will now put all its chips on the pick-up segment to set itself apart from the rest.
Mike Manley, president of Jeep, commented that pick-ups are a segment that has always caught his attention for the benefit of the brand. He didn’t say they would definitely start building pick-ups from tomorrow, but that it could be a possibility, harking back to the days of the Comanche, the last mid-size pick-up they built.
All of this applies only to the US market, where this type of vehicle is highly valued. At the very least, I can say that I would prefer a Jeep pick-up over the giant cargo vans that are so widely used in the US.
