Karma Automotive and Pininfarina's best-kept secret will be unveiled in Shanghai
Karma Automotive and Pininfarina want to surprise at the Shanghai Motor Show with three major bets.
The first teaser from Karma Automotive and Pininfarina has just been revealed. The first image of the new model that will be presented at the Shanghai Auto Show is quite dark, but some of its lines can still be made out.
The new teaser from Karma Automotive and Pininfarina will be accompanied by the new Karma Revero and another new concept that is secret for the moment.
The upcoming Shanghai Motor Show will be full of novelties from all car brands, but for Karma Automotive it will be much more special, since it will be the first time they exhibit since acquiring Fisker Automotive and launching the Fisker Karma, although it is now called Karma Revero.

The new Karma Revero will be accompanied by the mysterious Karma Vision concept and the teaser just presented. The image does not provide much information, as it is quite dark and little can be learned about the new ‘child’ of Karma and Pininfarina.
What we can make out is that it is not an SUV but may well be a coupé or even a saloon.

The new fully electric Karma Revero promises to be much faster, smarter and offer a far more striking design, according to the brand. This new generation, together with the two surprises mentioned above, will form what Karma Automotive calls the ‘Shanghai Big Three’.
Dr. Lance Zhou, CEO of Karma, has stated that “Karma is a luxury car company, born in California and driven by design, craftsmanship, technology, personalization and delivering the best customer experience”.
“We now have a vision and a roadmap for the company that is generating strong momentum, and I can say with confidence that our best days are yet to come,” Zhou concluded.
Karma Automotive turns five
This fifth anniversary comes at a good time for the company, as it already has almost 1,000 employees. Its beginnings as a car manufacturer date back to 2014, when Wanxiang Group founded Karma Automotive and launched the first Karma Revero.
Karma’s CEO added that “we have a solid product plan covering the next decade, and we are aligned with the right partners. They will help us accelerate the development of technology and new products. Since 2014, Karma has been quietly building a complete value chain and planning a strong relaunch; now we are ready to tell everyone: Karma is back!”.
