The Beijing Motor Show that is taking place these days has been the venue chosen by the South Korean brand to present a new concept model, the Kia K4. Initially designed exclusively for the Asian market, this saloon could reach the market towards the end of this same year.

The new Kia concept has a length of 4.72 metres with a wheelbase of 2.7 metres, which allows the Kia K4 to offer generous space for the driver and passengers.

Positioned between the K3 (Cerato) and the K5 (Optima), the new K4 concept features a fairly simple and restrained exterior design, as its target market is Asia. A low front end and a wedge-shaped profile help improve its aerodynamics. Moving inside the cabin, we find a Supervision-type instrument cluster and the Kia UVO infotainment system; in addition, the starting system is operated by a button.

Mechanically, the Kia K4 is equipped with a 1.6-litre Turbo GDI engine with a power output of up to 200 CV. The chosen transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT). Finally, in terms of safety, it comes with six airbags, ESP and a rear-view camera.
