Kicherer takes on the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster

With a vehicle that has only just been unveiled on the market, and given how easy it is on this occasion to adapt the body kit developed for its coupé sibling, it is no surprise that tuners such as Kicherer are rushing to be the first to offer modifications for the new open-top supercar from Mercedes.
Specifically, we are talking about the vehicle that Kicherer has named Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster Supersport GT/R, a more than striking modification that stands out for something as simple as offering a far more aggressive and sporty look without compromising what the engineers at Mercedes spent a long time developing, namely the vehicle’s everyday usability.

As you can see, if the vehicle presented by Kicherer stands out for anything, it is precisely its more than spectacular aerodynamic kit as well as new elements such as exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, air suspension that raises the front a few centimetres at the touch of a button in the cabin, and a much more powerful brake system whose huge calipers have been painted yellow.
Mechanically, Kicherer’s engineers did not want to miss the opportunity to boost the enormous 6.3-litre V8 to 650 CV, a project that is more than striking, especially when we consider the 571 CV the standard Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster delivers, enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
