Lexus adds an adventurous touch to the NX, and the result is this attractive Overtrail version

Just as it once did with the F Sport trim, aimed at those looking for a more dynamic and sporty image, Lexus now adds an interesting version to the NX range called Overtrail, which focuses on a more “adventurous” character, while also incorporating modifications that allow the Japanese hybrid SUV to leave the asphalt and explore tracks and trails with greater confidence.
To do this, the Lexus NX Overtrail features a suspension that raises the bodywork by 15 millimetres, along with a new Trail driving mode that prepares the control systems and suspension -as with the F Sport trim, the Overtrail also comes with adaptive variable suspension as standard– for driving on unpaved surfaces. And that covers the mechanical changes, because everything else this Overtrail version brings consists of design and equipment details.
All-wheel drive and hybrid powertrain with 244 CV
The Lexus NX Overtrail is offered exclusively with the
350h hybrid engine producing 244 CV and with all-wheel drive. Compared with the NX 350h 4WD F Sport, which has a list price of 74,100 euros, the Overtrail costs 71,100 euros, which is 3,000 euros less. Exteriorly it is distinguished by 18-inch alloy wheels in matt black fitted with mixed-use tyres, roof rails, and black finishing for the mirror housings, window trims and grille. Two specific body colours are offered, Moon Desert and Olive Green.
Inside, the NX Overtrail includes
synthetic leather upholstery in black, contrasting with the khaki tone of the armrests, door panels and stitching. Wood is used for the decorative inserts on the dashboard. Among some of the equipment that distinguishes the NX range, and which is not missing from this Overland version, are the nanoe-X air quality control system, the comfort climate assistant, the ambient lighting system, the 14-inch multimedia system or the assistance systems integrated into the Lexus Safety System+ safety package.
