Liberty Walk dresses a Audi R8 for SEMA 2015
At SEMA 2015 we will see many customised models from the world’s leading tuning companies, such as the Audi R8, which has been modified by Liberty Walk with spectacular results that turn this German model into a more dynamic and aggressive car.

SEMA 2015 is just around the corner, so we are seeing a good number of tuned cars that look spectacular for this vehicle personalisation event held in Las Vegas every year. One of the cars we will see there is the Audi R8 that has passed through the hands of Liberty Walk, showing a look that has not quite pleased everyone.
The Japanese tuning company usually builds spectacular cars, but they are not free from criticism, because while others enhance the image of the car they are based on, Liberty Walk is accused of “covering up” its main values and “spoiling” the usual image of the car. I’m not sure whether detractors of the company’s work will be satisfied with the result on the R8, but nobody can deny that it is spectacular.
One of the hallmarks of Liberty Walk is its habit of widening the car’s bodywork, adding in this case extensions over the wheel arches and other points of the car to give that sense of width. The look of the Audi R8 has been altered and turned into a car more aggressive than this German model really is.

One of the drawbacks noted in this particular project is that the addition at the rear hides the air intakes, so the openings in the rear wheel arches had to be added to adapt their shape to the needs of the car. That said, if you’re not a purist, this version will surprise you and I’m sure you’ll find it as spectacular as I do.
The personalisation kit offered by the company for the R8 consists of a front skirt and side sills, rear diffuser and spoiler, and a wide wheel arch. The price of the personalisation of the Audi R8 is set at $21,620 for the V8 version, although if you opt for the V10 version the price rises to $23,220.
