It seems this year has been somewhat turbulent for all those fortunes who love huge collections of exclusive supercars, since, as you can see these days, many have decided to put certain vehicles up for sale that are more than interesting, especially for those who can afford them

On this occasion we must talk about a striking Maserati MC12 Corsa, a vehicle developed by the Italian company itself as the car with which the brand would return to the world of competition, entering, as could not be otherwise, through the front door after 37 years of inactivity.

For this, nothing better than a limited edition of just 55 units, which made it far more exclusive than the Ferrari Enzo it is based on, or vehicles such as the Bugatti Veyron or the McLaren F1. Because of this, it is a unique opportunity to get hold of a striking Maserati MC12 Corsa.

The main peculiarity of the Corsa version is a 6.0-litre V12 whose power has been raised to 755 hp at 8,000 rpm, 122 hp more than the “standard” MC12. With such power, it is no surprise that this competition supercar can accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.4 seconds or reach a top speed of 330 km/h.

Specifically, of the Corsa variant only 15 units were built, three of which were used for brand testing and publicity. The remaining 12 were sold to exclusive Maserati clients, very influential and wealthy people who could only enjoy their vehicle on circuits around the world since it was not homologated for road use.

Even so, the Maserati MC12 Corsa with serial number #01 was modified and certified for road use. Specifically, a new catalytic converter, silencer, fuel pump and chassis were fitted, whose ride height has been increased thanks to a new damping system…
