Maserati Quattroporte Burberry, where did the good taste go?

The British fashion house has an important history since its founder, Thomas Burberry, created the trench coat in 1880, which remains the company’s emblem despite more than a century having passed.
However, it is hard to see a Maserati with the trench coat’s characteristic design, as it looks horrible, yet the Burberry designs could have been used in a better way, as Lamborghini did with Versace.
No specific details about the owner are known, but he is said to be a multimillionaire from Saudi Arabia, so we can imagine a senseless expense purely for amusement, or perhaps it is simply bad taste. Another image after the jump.
