Maybach 57S Coupe by Xenatec

A few months ago we showed you some sketches in which Xenatec presented its interpretation of a possible Maybach coupé, a variant that could prove essential for the super-luxury brand to remain in the market Mercedes.

Time flies. What was just a drawing in May is now reality, and a very beautiful one at that. In the photographs attached to this article you can admire the Maybach 57S Coupé. It is the first unit of a limited series of 100. Its price starts at €675,000.

It was designed by Fredrik Burchhardt, the same designer who worked on the unique Maybach Exelero. Many of the main features of the four-door saloon’s bodywork are retained – leaving aside the doors – and the interior continues to offer exceptional luxury. To give it the look of a coupé, the two rear doors have been removed, the body has been moved 508 mm rearward of the B-pillar, and the roof curvature has been increased by modifying the angle of the A and C pillars.

Best of all, the conversion to a coupé is a process supported by Maybach, so owners will not lose their vehicle’s warranty. In any case, if you are still not satisfied with these changes, you can add other things such as armoured bodywork or 21-inch wheels.
