Mercedes-Benz CLA 2023, more efficient and modern
The new sports models have been updated and include new equipment and more efficient engines.

The star brand has presented the updated Mercedes-Benz CLA. The model is now much more modern, efficient and even more powerful, especially in the 45 AMG version. The 45 S, for example, is now capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in four seconds. It is all-wheel drive and the powertrain is linked to an eight-speed AMG dual-clutch gearbox.
The model has also been fitted with the AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus, which includes a fixed rear spoiler, among other elements. The CLA 35, meanwhile, features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and a new radiator that improves engine cooling. The entry-level versions also come equipped with the 35’s micro-hybrid system.
As for design, the AMG versions feature a Panamericana grille with vertical slats, LED front and rear lights and an updated front end. In addition, the AMG badge replaces the star on the front bumper. The wheels have also been updated and the manufacturer offers a wide range of options. Another novelty is the colour palette, as the model has added two new shades: Hyper Blue and Starling Blue.

The new models will feature the latest generation of the MBUX system, which can be personalised in up to three styles, classic, sporty and discreet, offering the driver distinctive digital displays. Drivers will be able to adapt the instrument cluster and the 10.25″ screens to their preferred settings. It also offers Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-C for passengers.
Another novelty is the Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos, which will allow for a much richer listening experience. The interiors have also been updated and are now much more luxurious. They include standard ambient lighting, a reversing camera, Nappa leather steering wheel, the mirror package and the parking package. Driver assistance has also been improved and allows parallel parking and the use of a 3D 360-degree camera.
The seats are offered in black, sage grey and beige macchiato, although if you prefer to fully customise it, you can opt for the AMG range, which offers new upholstery. The Performance options come as standard with the new AMG Performance steering wheel with AMG Drive Unit controls. Both models also get AMG-specific designs for the MBUX operating system.
