Millions of euros invested at Villa d'Este

I very much doubt there is any other name for the millions of euros that have been “spent” this weekend at the classic car auction held at Villa d’Este, where some of the most beautiful and powerful vehicles ever built have changed hands as if they were trading cards.

The scale of the auction organised by RM Auctions was such that, once it concluded, we are talking about an investment of 23 million euros, an astronomical sum of money that passed from one set of hands to another in the space of two hours, truly a surprising thing.

On the other hand, you should not be surprised by this, since among those present were unique vehicles such as a 1955 Ferrari 375 MM Berlinetta, specifically the last one ever built, which changed owners for 3,360,000 euros, and a 1938 Talbot-Lago T150-C SS Teardrop Coupé in perfect condition that sold for 3,136,000 euros…

We also have Bertone, which unfortunately was unable to halt the sale of its most exclusive vehicles, whose proceeds went directly to the brand’s creditors due to ever-growing debts. Among the most curious and fiercely contested vehicles, we must highlight the Lamborghini Marzal, an unusual unit that ultimately changed owners for 1,512,000 euros.

Without further ado, here is a gallery of the most expensive car of this year. If you want to see a full list with all the vehicles, click here.

la verdad es que asistir a esta clase de eventos personalmente tiene que ser algo de otro mundo, si me lo pudiera permitir y sobre todo tuviera tiempo, no dudes que yo también iría
