2019, a year to remember

In this past year, 2019, a total of 13,578 MINI cars were delivered in Spain. This represents an overall growth of 6.6% compared with the previous year. The executives and the whole team that makes up the company’s operations in our country can feel very proud.

The best-selling model in 2019 was the MINI 5-door with a total of 5,020 units sold. The brand’s second most successful model is the SUV favoured by the manufacturer, the MINI Countryman.

A total of 4,458 units of the MINI Countryman were sold in 2019, also outstanding numbers, especially for a brand with so little experience in the SUV segment.

The rest of the manufacturer’s best-selling range consists of the MINI 3-door, with a total of 2,191 units sold, the MINI Cabrio with 1,307, and last the luxurious MINI Clubman with a total of 602 units sold.

Special mention goes to the MINI Countryman Cooper SE, the brand’s plug-in hybrid model, which led the plug-in hybrid sales ranking as the best-selling of its kind with 1,382 registrations. This represents growth of 82% over 2018 for this model.

These are the best news MINI could have hoped for after these 3 record years. Expectations are now higher than ever. How many years will they be able to keep beating their own record?
