Mitsubishi L200: a concept car based on e-sports
The concept car for the Mitsubishi L200, focused on e-sports, was the winner of the five “Truck King Battle” designs among the brand’s dealerships that competed
All members and staff of the Mitsubishi dealerships in the United Kingdom took part to be as creative and authentic as possible, so as to design the Mitsubishi L200 of their dreams.
Likewise, the concepts were published on Mitsubishi Motors, where the winning design achieved the highest level of participation and was announced as the winner at the Annual Dealer Conference on 21 March.

A concept built on the e-sports platform
Joanne Tulloch, sales administrator at Livery Dale Mitsubishi in Exeter, was its creator: “The design is inspired by my husband and my family. We are all gamers, and we wanted to reflect what our Mitsubishi L200 would look like”.
In turn, the Mitsubishi L200 e-sports incorporates a series of modifications, such as a high-roof gaming zone with large screens and a team with custom seating and lighting.
Among its other features are a drinks bar, a high-powered audio system, and equipment with off-road wheels and tyres.

Rob Lindley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motor UK, said: “All five designs were fantastic, demonstrating the versatility of this vehicle. The winner is a unique and modern concept, since e-sports are all the rage.”
Consequently, the Mitsubishi L200 e-sports will be presented at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham, from 30 April to 2 May, as a one-off custom show vehicle.

Finally, for those who may have missed it, it is worth highlighting that e-sports are on a growing trend, whether in other fields or in car video games themselves. It is a craze that keeps growing and that, for the first time, has a vehicle designed by and for them.
