Citroën expands the engine range of the renewed C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso with the arrival of the BlueHDi engine. This powertrain is designed to reduce emissions and consumption as much as possible, helping to respect the environment and meet environmental requirements.

This new BlueHDi engine delivers 150 CV of power and meets the demanding Euro VI standard, which will come into force next September. It is available with a six-speed manual gearbox, and on the Grand C4 Picasso also with an automatic gearbox.

As for fuel consumption, the combined-cycle figure has been reduced to around 4.2 l/100 km for the five-seater version, while the seven-seater comes in at about 4.5 l/100 km. CO2 emissions stand at 110 g/km with the manual gearbox, and 117 g/km with the automatic. Another improvement of this engine is that it features an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) module that cuts nitrogen oxides by 90%, converting them into water vapour and nitrogen. Finally, prices range from €26,890 for the five-seat version in Intensive trim up to €32,790 for the Exclusive seven-seater with automatic gearbox.
