New Lexus RC 300h, renewed: more agile and elegant
The new Lexus RC 300h renews its look, giving it more sportiness and elegance, and improves its interior to enhance the driving pleasure.
The new Lexus RC 300h was unveiled today. This premium sports coupé from the manufacturer will make its global debut on 2 October at the Paris Motor Show. The first units will arrive in Spain in 2019.
The RC 300h was launched on the market in 2014 and, since then, has become the cornerstone of Lexus in offering a car with higher-quality performance, a sporty identity and a versatile character.

This evolution of the manufacturer’s successful sports model retains the identity details of its predecessor, but evolves in its design and dynamics to refine certain details of the car and, in many cases, improve them.
On the outside, the design of the original model is preserved with subtle changes that add more elegance. Inside, everything has been conceived and designed to maximise comfort and driver enjoyment as far as possible.

Other notable improvements include the aerodynamics, the tyres and the suspension. All of these provide a better feel at the wheel, greater driver confidence, stability and versatility, making it ideal for both a mountain road and the busy streets of a city.
Elegance inside and sportiness outside
The engineers and designers of Lexus have set out to increase the sportiness and elegance of the exterior. The key to this achievement lies in very personal changes, such as the new corner of the front bumper that flows downward from the headlights, or the grille design, which incorporates shapes that gradually transform from top to bottom.
The exhaust pipes have been integrated into the rear bumper. Furthermore, it has a wider stance and a lower centre of gravity, which translates into a greater capacity to maintain grip in a variety of driving conditions.

This model will be available in 11 colour options, including some truly special ones such as Naples Yellow or Cyan Blue, which suit the 300h especially well.
Optimal interior improvements that increase comfort
The aim has been to enlarge the driving cabin to increase comfort, with details such as the enlarged and raised knee protections on either side of the centre console, creating a greater sense of space in the front of the cabin. Also noteworthy is the brushed finish of the climate control and audio control panels, which creates a greater sense of quality.

A new analogue clock, identical to that of the LC, has been added to the upper area of the dashboard, which is also intended to become one of the distinctive elements of Lexus coupés.
The RC 300h F Sport will also include the Naguri inserts. In total, there will be five options available to customers interested in purchasing the new 300h, which can be combined with other 7 interior options.
A more agile, sporty and refined drive
Lexus adopted as its marketing strategy the terms “more agile and refined”, especially to define the LC. The manufacturer’s engineers have therefore concentrated on creating a model that offers a more engaging drive, focusing their attention on details and improving specific parts. For example, the car’s aerodynamics have been updated and the suspension system and drivetrain have been fine-tuned.

The new RC 300h is more athletic and its responsiveness is greater than ever. Its improved aerodynamics, thanks to details such as the new shape of the side window fin or the exhaust at the rear bumper, reinforce this claim. It will feature 19-inch wheels fitted with tyres that provide greater grip and contribute to the excellent steering response.
The new Lexus RC will be presented globally on 2 October at the Paris Motor Show. The first units will arrive in Spain in 2019.
