Eleven Hyundai Genesis to write a message that can be read from space

The thirteen-year-old daughter of one of the astronauts on the International Space Station wanted to send a handwritten message to her father, and Hyundai made it possible by reproducing the girl’s message at a letter size (more than 30 meters thick) that could be seen from space.
To do this, a space large enough to lay out the message was needed, and Delamar Dry Lake, in Nevada, was chosen as the location. Experts from Korea, Europe and the United States took part in deciding the most suitable place to lay out the message, identifying suitable locations based on weather and geographical factors.
Coordination was the key to success, as eleven units of Hyundai Genesis drove in unison across the floor of the dry lake, creating each letter of this very special message, fitted with studded tires and as if performing a choreography. This feat was recorded by Guinness World Records as ‘the largest image created with tire tracks’, having covered an area of 5.55 square kilometers.
