The time has come to look at the novelties that Renault is presenting at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The French brand is one of the most important in the European market, and that is why its offerings are the most anticipated at the event. For this edition, the manufacturer has chosen to show us the car that follows the Captur in the new production line it will be tackling in the coming years across its new models and versions.

To begin with, there is a change at the front, where the well-known, larger diamond emblem will appear, something that will be carried over to the entire range in the coming years. A new look that seeks to strengthen the brand’s image. The headlights also feature a new design, with daytime running lights using LED technology, and there is even the option of Full LED units.

It is built on the platform of the Nissan Qashqai, so we will find elements specific to this Japanese model in it. Like the successful Captur, this model will also be manufactured in Spain, at least initially.

CLIO RS TROPHY, THE SPORTY ONE

The Renault Clio RS Trophy is the new member of the popular French family. It is a version that has received a small exterior restyling, but which does not really stand out compared with the base RS model. The interior seeks to offer a sporty look and features a leather steering wheel with embossed pattern, an addition with the RS logo on a red background and black tones to accentuate it.

Under the bonnet we find a 1.6 Turbo engine that delivers 220 CV and a maximum torque of 260 Nm, which can reach up to 280 Nm under special conditions in fourth and fifth gear. It also features a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox.

ESPACE INITIALE PARIS, THE ELEGANT ONE

Finally, the diamond brand has presented the Renault Initiale Paris, the top trim of the range and undoubtedly the most sought-after within it. It has features that place it within the category that defines the Renault most elegant models with the finest finishes.

With it, the brand seeks to bring the MPV market an elevated experience beyond what the brand’s models usually offer. More comfort, more equipment and a much more pleasant and efficient driving experience.
