Rolls-Royce RR4 spy photos

The “baby Rolls” has been spotted. Although heavily camouflaged, KGP has managed to get several spy photos of Rolls-Royce’s little one. The Rolls-Royce RR4 is the “small” saloon that Rolls has in the works to compete with saloons such as the Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

It will use the chassis of the new BMW 7 Series as its base, but this will be one of the few things they have in common, as few parts will be shared. The level of finish is well above the 7 Series; looking at some of the spy photos, you can see the real wood covering part of the centre console.

What is new is the iDrive, which will be derived from the one used by BMW. We should have more images by 2009, since it is expected to be unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
