Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS

The world of supercars is becoming more and more interesting, as more and more companies keep emerging with one of these expensive and luxurious models up their sleeve. Are there really that many wealthy people in the world for such a number of vehicles?
On the other hand, ingenuity keeps growing, and little by little the smaller brands are racking their brains more and more to bring to production models that give their owners something today’s cars are unable to offer. Take, for example, a model like the FF by Ferrari, the first car from the brand to offer four-wheel drive, or the new Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS, perhaps the only four-seat convertible supercar.

Among its most striking specifications, the brand that owns the vehicle, based in the Netherlands, is offering precisely that: the first four-seat convertible supercar. That said, this project is by no means new, since the brand debuted at the Top Marques Monaco in 2009.
Now, if we get down to business, this model is sure not to disappoint, since, among other things, it is equipped with the famous 7.0-litre V8, more specifically the one called LS7 within General Motors, which powers models as spectacular as the Corvette Z06. As you well know, among the main features of this engine, the 601 horsepower and 553 Nm of peak torque it is capable of producing stand out.

Curiously, the similarities with Chevrolet’s Corvette Z06 don’t end there, since the Roadyacht GTS is based on a stretched Corvette platform, which undoubtedly may offer it guarantees of success. To complete the project, the brand’s engineers have decided to fit Koni air suspension as well as a braking system made up, among other things, of eight-piston calipers, no small feat.
Unfortunately, it is still not known for certain whether Savage Rivale will finally manage to bring its Roadyacht GTS into production. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with the model’s promotional video
