Shocking accident at 160 km/h

Incredibly, he survived. Think I’m exaggerating? Well, here’s the video after the jump. A police chase in the US ended with a spectacular flight and crash into a bridge by a car travelling at 160 km/h.

I wonder what this guy was trying to do, since he was heading straight for the bridge pillars. Luckily, the guardrail deflected him from his path, but the car took off and hit the bridge. According to witnesses, the car “exploded” into three pieces. Luckily for this poor guy (after he leaves hospital, he has no option but prison) he lived to tell the tale… to the judge.
