Skoda Karoq Like: a limited-edition SUV with a bargain price

Starting at €20,250, you get a Skoda Karoq Like, with a very complete equipment list and two engines to choose from. The problem is that it is a limited edition… and they sell out.

Skoda is launching a limited edition of the Skoda Karoq called Like, with a very attractive balance between price and equipment. It is based on the Ambition trim and, although it costs about €350 more, it adds equipment that is clearly worth over €2,000 if the additional items it includes were chosen as separate options.

Thus, the Skoda Karoq Like adds to the Ambition versions full LED headlights, darkened rear windows, silver roof bars and chrome window frames as exterior distinguishing features. The available colours are Moon White and Metal Grey. The alloy wheels are 16 inches for the 115 hp 1.0 TSI petrol engine, and 17 inches for the 1.6 TDI with the same power output.

Further extras on the Karoq Like include the Amundsen navigation system with an 8-inch touchscreen, traffic sign recognition, Front Assist anti-collision system, light and rain sensor, rear parking sensor and reversing camera. In the Karoq Like TDI, the Varioflex system, which allows individual and adjustable rear seats, is also standard.

The Like version of the Skoda Karoq is only available with the 115 hp 1.0 TSI and 1.6 TDI engines and a manual gearbox

The price of the Skoda Karoq Line 1.0 TSI 115 hp is €20,250, and €21,300 for the Karoq 1.6 TDI, in both cases with a 6-speed manual gearbox. These prices are with all discounts currently in force, subject to financing the purchase through the brand. Among its main rivals in the compact SUV segment is the Seat Ateca, which starts at €22,060 in the 1.0 TSI engine and Reference trim at list price, but can be had with discounts of around €18,500, with less equipment than the Karoq Like.
