Spain: the new Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic begin deliveries
Renault Spain has prepared the renewal of its Scenic and Grand Scenic range, with prices ranging from 17,300 to 22,700 euros.

With more up-to-date designs, engines with improved consumption and emissions, and enhanced technological equipment, Renault Spain has unveiled the new Scenic and Grand Scenic models for 2012, giving the first one a sportier and more carefree look, while the Grand Scenic anticipates an image that is above all family-oriented.
Among the novelties that customers of Renault will find on both models are the new alloy wheels, upholstery and new chrome details in the interior. In the Grand Scenic, the satin-finished interior bars, the chrome trim and the LED daytime running lights incorporate the new updates presented by Renault.
Among the changes is also the option of a lane departure warning system, which can be switched on manually or activates automatically when the engine starts at speeds above 70 km/h, along with automatic high beams that switch off when meeting another vehicle or when approaching a certain distance from the vehicle ahead during night driving.
The petrol engine range consists of the 1.4 TCE with 130 CV, the 1.6 with 110 CV and the 2.0 with 143 CV, all paired exclusively with automatic gearboxes, while on the diesel side there will be the 1.5 dCi with 110 CV, the 1.6 dCi with 130 CV and the 2.0 dCi with 150 CV. It is worth mentioning that in May the 1.6 petrol engine with 110 horsepower will be replaced by the new 1.2 with 115 horsepower, produced at the Valladolid engine plant.
Prices range from 17,300 to 22,700 euros, to which is added a promotion of 1,500 euros off if, when buying the car, an old vehicle of more than ten years is handed in for scrapping. This offer is combined with a further 1,500 euro discount, provided the buyer takes up the brand’s finance programme and includes insurance and an extended warranty.
