Spirra S 2008, a new Korean sports car

When people think of high-powered sports cars with elegant design, well-known Italian brands immediately come to mind; however, we would almost never imagine that a Korean car would attract attention in a similar way.
Called Spirra S 2008, this sports car is powered by a Hyundai 2.7L V6 engine producing 391 CV, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox, a combination that allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km in 4.5 seconds.
Its structure based on carbon fibre gives the car a weight of approximately 1077 kg, making it possible to reach racing speeds without much effort, around 306 km/h.
But this would not have been possible if Korea IT and electronics giant Oullim Group had not bought Protomotors in 2007, the company where the Spirra had been under development for ten years.
The company now called Oullim Motors plans to begin hand-producing the car next month and to market a limited number of units per year.
