Spy photos of the Nissan Patrol 2010

1 min. The first spy photos of the new generation of the Nissan Patrol, due to launch for 2010, have appeared. The photos, published on a blog, give us a first look at the new line of Nissan’s “pure” off-roader. It could be unveiled in September, during the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The front end follows the brand’s design line, just like the rest of Nissan’s TT models. But the surprise appears in the side line and the rear lights, which are completely new and feature circular LED lights. It seems the new Patrol would be inspired by the Terranaut concept that Nissan presented in 2006.
As for the interior, which also receives changes, new and higher-quality materials appear (or at least that is what can be seen in the photos), along with a new design for the centre console. Regarding engines, all we know is that Nissan is working on V6 petrol and diesel units, as well as the 3.0 dCi engine. The spy photo gallery includes two photos of the Terranaut concept that inspired it.

Realmente espero que el motor de esta nueva versión de la Nissan Patrol no tenga los problemas que dió el 3.0 turbo diesel. Tanto el motor como el turbo, parecian estar hechos para autos de juguetes debido a que no soportaban un pequeño maltrato y generalmente se delataba su defecto con un silbido de turbo muy, pero muy incomodo, a tal punto de hacerse insoportable para el conductor debido a que pareciese que estuviere manejando una ambulancia en lugar de una simple camioneta automatica. Ademas espero que el tablero de la misma haya sido adaptado a los rigores de nuestro clima tropical, y digo esto porque el 100% de los mismos comenzó a sufrir los efectos del calor de nuestro trópico y a ampollarse en su totalidad por efecto del calor generado por el vidrio del parabrisas y el reluciente sol de nuestro país.
Si esos dos pequeños detalles fueron considerados y mejorados claro puedo volver a retomar la confianza que antes tuve en esta marca y sus motores; y digo esto porque en mi país la empresa que los representa muy poco a hecho para salvaguardar el nombrte de la otrora prestigiosa marca Nissan y su modelo insignia la camioneta patrol.
