Stelato is born, a brand with Huawei's technology and BAIC's power
Huawei is creating companies alongside car manufacturers to position itself in the market with several electric models in the coming years.

The Chinese market never stops moving, and every time we look we come across fresh news bringing a new brand. In this case, it is Stelato, a recently created brand that is about to launch an electric car. Although the company is very new, it is not short on experience. This brand, whose name seems to come from Stellato, which in Italian means Starred, has two powerful Chinese companies behind it.
It arises from the union of Huawei, a company well known for its technology products, and BAIC, one of China’s most powerful car manufacturers. Both have established a collaboration to advance in the electric car segment and are about to present their first vehicle.

A saloon ready to take on the Tesla Model 3
This first electric car will be a saloon, which aims to take on the popular Tesla Model 3, so it will have features that can compete with this bestseller. Of course, there is still no information about what it will offer. What is known is that the car has already been developed and is ready for market launch.
The name of this vehicle is, for now and for internal use, X4. It is undergoing its first tests and its characteristics will soon be made public. At least, the most general ones. It is also known that the price will fall within a range from 300,000 to 500,000 yuan, which is equivalent to roughly 40,000 to 53,000 euros.
Will this brand reach Europe? The newly founded company has not given any clues in this regard, but it has not ruled it out either. So it is possible that within a few years we will find a new catalogue of electric vehicles under this badge to enjoy sustainable driving in Europe as well.
This is not the first move by the multinational Huawei to launch an electric car. Not long ago we learned of the Luxeed brand, created with the company Chery. It has also established other strategic alliances with Seres and JAIC, so it is opening several fronts to be present in electric mobility, relying on quality partners with solvency in the market.
