Suzuki confirms the Kizashi for this year but will not be presented in New York

The next mid-size saloon from Suzuki, called Kizashi, finally has a launch date, which, although not very specific, rules out any delays or cancellations. The Kizashi will go on sale in the United States before the end of the current year, as Suzuki has announced to the jury of the World Car of the Year 2009 award.

However, Suzuki has also said that its presentation will not take place at the New York Auto Show next week, so we will probably have to wait until after the summer. The Kizashi was already spotted last year during testing, where some details could be seen. Sketches were also revealed showing the size and exterior details of the car.
