TerrainHopper all-terrain wheelchairs go where others cannot

Where the difficulty of the terrain meets the limits of conventional wheelchairs, TerrainHopper all-terrain wheelchairs make their way through

Personal mobility is an innate human right. Sometimes from birth, and other times due to illness or accident, the limitation of personal movement makes it necessary to use a wheelchair to facilitate or enable people with specific needs to move with assistance.

From chairs that are pushed to self-propelled chairs, the range seeks to address the most general conditions for its users, but what happens where the terrain is difficult?

Whether out of necessity or for enjoyment, TerrainHopper all-terrain wheelchairs literally go where others cannot.

From broken tracks or paths, through muddy or water-covered ground, to the evenness and stability of paved pavements in a large city, these are surfaces across which the different models of this British manufacturer allow their occupants to travel and overcome.

TerrainHopper models

Within the TerrainHopper all-terrain wheelchair range, the most affordable is the Overlander Mini, which starts at £9,850, currently a little over €11,484.

An individual vehicle designed for smaller adults or children which, thanks to its four independently suspended wheels and two-wheel drive, tackles terrain in a similar way to the model above it, the Overlander 4ZS.

This all-terrain wheelchair from TerrainHopper differs from the first in price, starting at £12,800, in that it has four-wheel drive, and in its carrying capacity, as it is designed to transport people weighing up to 159 kg.

The Overlander Sprint also has two-wheel drive but offers grip on earth, rock, mud and beach sand, reaching speeds of up to 12 km/h and a load capacity for one person of up to 102 kg. Its price matches that of the Mini version.

And if these three standard models do not meet the customer’s requirements, TerrainHopper all-terrain wheelchairs can be customised. The Bespoke option offers customisation, from colour to batteries to lighting.

TerrainHopper Bespoke will supply a chair tailored to the requirements of its user. The final price will depend on the extras and modifications made.

In any case, these are wheelchairs that open up the possibility of mobility on almost any surface and in any circumstance for people whose right to move freely has been limited, wherever they wish to go.
