The Citroën C5 Exclusive will feature Citroën Emergency and Citroën Assistance

From this month, the Citroën C5 Exclusive gives the driver the peace of mind of standard equipment Citroën eTouch, which incorporates the Citroën Emergency and Citroën Assistance systems, two essential safety systems. One for location and the other for requesting assistance in the event of a breakdown.
In an emergency situation, with Citroën Emergency the vehicle’s occupants contact a specialised platform by simply pressing the “SOS” button. The vehicle is then identified, its position located via GPS, and the appropriate rescue services are sent to the scene of the incident, which saves time. In the event of a collision, the vehicle automatically sends its GPS position to the location centre.
Citroën Assistance helps the driver in the event of a breakdown. By simply pressing the “double chevron” button, this system puts them in contact with the Citroën Assistance platform, which will free of charge, during the warranty period or service contract, arrange a repair or towing service as quickly as possible.
And taking this opportunity, Citroën has also sent us its updated price list for the C5 range, including VAT and taxes, which also offer both systems mentioned above:
